1.NEBOSH Profile
Established in 1979, the National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is an independent examination and qualification body providing comprehensive, internationally recognised vocational qualifications that meet the health, safety, environment and risk management needs of trainees.
2. Introduction to NEBOSH course
2.1 IOGC course introduction
Awarded by NEBOSH, The International Oil and Gas Certificate is aimed at managers, supervisors and health and safety consultants with safety responsibilities in the oil and gas industry. This qualification focuses on operational process safety and is designed to enable learners to apply and implement effective process safety management in all operational areas, anywhere in the world. This qualification provides the foundational knowledge which, when combined with experience, enables the holder to identify, assess and control a wide range of workplace hazards. It is based on international standards and management systems to effectively fulfill workplace safety responsibilities on land and at sea. Our qualifications are developed on the basis of extensive research with health and safety professionals, employers, professional bodies and regulatory bodies to ensure they remain relevant, rigorous, achievable and practical.
2.1.1 NEBOSH IOGC Course Training Outline
Health, safety and environmentalmanagement in context (Recommended 12 hours)
Hydrocarbon process safety 1 (Recommended 8 hours)
Hydrocarbon process safety 2 (Recommended 8 hours)
Fire protection and emergency Response(Recommended 4 hours)
Logistics and transport operations(Recommended 2 hours)
Note:IOG1--Invigilated paper based exams. Exam dates will be decided and arranged by Learning Partners，exam is registered before the exam date for 30 working days.there is no set amount.
2.1.2 Examination requirements and examination form
3.Exam requirements
A: Learner must be registered before you take the exam. Learners must pass an English proficiency test and study more than 50% of the content of the course before they are allowed to register for the exam
B: The exam is a two-hour written test covering the entire syllabus, which is reviewed by an external examiner appointed by NEBOSH. 45-54 marks pass; 55-64 is a Credit, and 65 and above is Distinct.
D: There is no score requirement for the make-up exam. Need to re-register. learners who need to raise your grade level can also apply for retaking the exam.
3.Exam date and certification cycle
Exam date: determined and arranged by the training institution. Apply for the test 30 working days before the test. The number of times is unlimited.
Evidence cycle: Results will be issued 10 weeks after the exam, and special dates will be notified on the admission ticket. If you pass, you will receive your certificate 8 weeks after your results.
3.2 Learners' English proficiency test
When participating in the training, the learners must provide the corresponding English certificate to prove their English level.
3.3 Learner Learning requirements
During the learning period, learners should strictly abide by the learning management regulations of Beijing XinBo, and will not leave for absence at will.
During the learning period, learners should carefully complete the tutor's homework and test requirements.
4. Training expenses
Once the learners confirm to attend the NEBOSH learning organized by BeijingXinBo, they need to pay according to the course fee. Each course costs 18,000 yuan/person, and the first 3 participants of each course can enjoy the preferential price of 17,000 yuan/person, access to a full course, course book, NEBOSH exam, tutor support.If the learner fail the exam, you can learn for free once in the next 18 months.
